Before I start driving it I wanted to take care of some maintenace
that I haven't done because it take time and some hard work. I have a
radiator that is a ticking time bomb, Mercedes installed a valeo
radiator from the factory, the radiator runs coolant and transmission
fluid but some unlucky owners would get cracks and both fluid will mix
and boom! Dealer wants $8000 for a new tranny. I have been putting
this off for years so with Rex help he found a place where I can order
all the stuff I need for less than the dealer with all mercedes parts.
I decided to flush my tranny as it has never been done since the car
was purchased. I spend about $350 for all the parts.
This was the picture when I got the radiator out. Was a bitch but
since I kept the car clean my hand didn't have any grease like other
cars that I've worked on! I'm not done gonna finish tomorrow!
