Hello Nikon D7000! why?
I just wanted to buy a camera that will last me for years! The d3100 is nice but small. The viewfinder was small and I had to squint. Because it was compact prone to camera shake,
With this kit "D7000" I only need 2 lens.
The stock on the d7000 is low everywhere, Costco is now sold out. I'm going to be lot happy with it for sure!

2 weeks and 4 cameras...that's ballin'!
Glad you ultimately settled on the D7000. Even though I know it has more features than you will need right away, I'm a firm believer that you are always better off buying more than exactly what you need. You basically kept the doors open for yourself if you decide to get into more advanced photography. If you kept the 3100 and decided to go a little deeper with features, you would be stuck.
So how do you like it? I haven't opened mine yet!
Not point and shoot for sure lol. I love that I got 2 wheel to control the appature and shutter. White balance is not on the menu has a button for adjustment. So for I I like it a lot
I took some pictures with Jen but it started rainning so maybe another day
TIGHT!
Yeah one of the things I am kinda dreading is that I am so used to a physical switch to go between Continuous and Single Servo Modes. I know these cameras dont have a physical switch ... which is fine, but with all new cameras, there is always a different way to do things.
On my other cameras I had WB and ISO on the right hand...this one its on the left. ...whew lots of fun things to relearn!
Thats awesome! Can't wait to see some pics.
