I was not happy with the nikon P500 it is a good Camera but I know if I wanted to get some nice Photos I have to go with a DSLR, after texting with My buddy Rex and saw a good deal at costco I picked up the Nikon D3100, this is my first true SLR
I took some pictures with it when I got home and was happy but I know there is a lot of things I got to learn.

Woohoo! The D3100 is a beast of a camera for the price! I'm sure you will be very happy with it! I got really tired of taking crappy pics with my iPhone too. So many moments wasted with crappy pics. I hope to pick up a new DSLR soon!

Congrats! From what I hear, the D3100 is really nice at a really good price. You'll definitely be happy with the quality of pics that comes out of it...and does get better once you're more comfortable. Watch out for the NAS.

at first when I was using a demo I didnt like it. I was thinking its to heavy
But I got used to it with just playing with it.

Hahaha Nikon Acquisition Syndrome LOL I think Dom suffers from it! I attended Nikon Anonymous meetings so I think I'm sober :)
